This is a good book to have to review things in regards to massage therapy.
This book has been incredibly helpful, from day one of massage therapy school. I have learned more about muscle anatomy from it than from our required anatomy book. The author uses real live humans with extremely realistic drawn muscles and bones superimposed on them, which gives you an excellent spatial perception of the anatomy and where it lies in the body. I HIGHLY recommend this book for massage therapy students, practitioners and pretty much anyone interested in muscular anatomy. STUPENDOUS BOOK!!!!!

This is the most incredible book. All the muscles are featured in the most outstanding photographs superimposed on top of models. Each picture is vibrant and bright in color with good descriptions on how to address them and which techniques to use. The pictures can show you at a glance the origins and insertions of the muscles, whether you are just beginning your studies and studying for anatomy exams or are a seasoned massage therapist who needs a quick reminder of exact attachments, this books serves all. I love this book!Since writing this review years ago, I am still using this book for review. I wish it had a stronger spine as I find now the pages are falling out, I am going to have to buy another copy. If they have a hard back I will get that instead for longevity.
I love this. Well organized, area specific, detailed, instructional. Great for massage therapy. Everything else so far has been too generic for my needs.
The book fully met my expectations. Excellent diagrams, clear explanations, logical narrative. Will be very useful in my practice.
